I’m thrilled to share that I’ve successfully concluded my tenure as Growth Manager at SeamlessHR, a pioneering B2B-SaaS company in Africa. Over the past twenty months, I’ve had the privilege of driving growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

My last day working from the HQ in Lagos, Nigeria.

I relished the opportunity to directly impact SeamlessHR’s revenue growth. My strategic and analytical skills came to the fore as I led initiatives that spanned demand generation, nurturing and funnel optimization; selection, utilization and optimisation of media channels; brand visibility and thought leadership.

I am glad to have collaborated with different teams and stakeholders across markets to score some landmark achievements and significant milestones.

My first few months saw me spearhead the business’s first OOH campaign, leveraging a strategic location and impactful creative that garnered earned media on Twitter. The campaign’s success led to the continued usage of the channel and its adoption in other markets.

Collaborating with the Sales team, the team transformed our CRM into an analytical engine that provided significant input to our business planning process.

Our rigorous and continuous data-cleaning efforts birthed insights that steered our overarching marketing strategy.

I masterminded the research, analysis, and publication of “The State of Talent Acquisition in Nigeria,” a product of our engagement with the largest gathering of HR leaders in Africa. The resource has been downloaded over 1,000 times, solidifying our brand position and thought leadership efforts.

The success of the Refer and Earn programme is a delightful reward for testing and unlocking new growth levers.

Institutionalising our account-based marketing approach and defining necessary frameworks laid a solid foundation for the biggest revenue-orientated project of the business.

MLegacy, our website overhaul and redesign project came out beautifully well and launched the business into its future.

This note will be defective without amplifying my sincere appreciation to the leadership of the company and the entire management that created a culture and atmosphere for me to thrive.

To my managers, Asher and Sayo, thank you for driving me to achieve the seemingly unachievable. To the entire Marketing and Communications team, thank you for always smashing it and raising the bar every single time!

I’m immensely grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to SeamlessHR’s growth. I carry the transformative lessons and experiences from this journey with me to my next adventure.
